  1. Remove end tables, limit switches and electronic handwheels. Disassemble Y-axis drivetrain and remove ballscrew (yoke is mounted underneath saddle). Disconnect X-axis motor cables from motor. Remove Y-axis gibs and brackets and limit switch.

    • Remove end tables, limit switches and electronic handwheels.

    • Disassemble Y-axis drivetrain and remove ballscrew (yoke is mounted underneath saddle). Disconnect X-axis motor cables from motor.

    • Remove Y-axis gibs and brackets and limit switch.

  2. Remove main oil line that supplies saddle and table.

    • Remove main oil line that supplies saddle and table.

    • If machine has glass scales, Y-axis reader head bracket will have to be removed.

    • Forklift is recommended for lifting table/saddle. If not lifting machine too high, you may be able to leave the X-axis scale in place.
