How It Works: Saddle Guard Lock

While running a program, the saddle guard lock must be engaged.

To engage door plunger into saddle, line up arrows on saddle and door, then push plunger inward toward saddle.

In the event that the Saddle Door Retract Plunger is not fully retracted towards the operator, a “Door interlock not fully engaged” message will be displayed on the control. While the notification is on, the operator will not be allowed to run the program or move the saddle with the EHW’s or jogstick.

The operator should also refrain from sliding the door as this could cause the door switch trigger pin to break or bend.

To disengage the saddle guard lock, just press the door open button.
