Step 1 How It Works (Loading Guard Door)

The loading guard door provides the ability to slide to the right, away from the spindle to allow easier access to the workpiece or work holding.
The door is released using the DOOR OPEN button on the apron plate. This button also releases the sliding door from the saddle.
In the event that the guard is not properly closed, a “Chuck guard open” message will appear on the control, and the spindle will not be allowed to run, nor will the axis move.
