This step explains how to install an Auto Lube Option on a K Mill. There is an important lube feed line that will be disconnected from the existing manual pump to distribute lube to the automatic pump.
-
1 - Aluminum cover where the new pump will be installed. 2 - This feed line will be removed and rerouted. 3 - The location of the manual lube pump from the factory. The pump may be left in place or removed at the customer's option. 4 - A 90° elbow will be added here to route the lube line.
-
1 - Rerouted feed line which is needed to install automatic lube pump. 2 - Changing the location of the feed line defines the location of a Oil Regulating Distributor, part number L010. You will drill and tap holes such that you can connect this feed line to the manifold at this location.

1 - Reroute feed line to manual pump as shown. 2 - Location for Oil Regulating Distributor. Attach distributor to feed line and mark the two support holes. Remove distributor, drill 2 holes with #21 drill bit and tap for 10/32". Replace distributor and attach with 2 10/32x1 25B SHCS and 2 15759 washers.
