Error 510107
Error 510107 Explanation
510107 is an error message that does not automatically clear when the alarm condition is removed. The user must press RESET to clear the alarm after the condition is resolved.
DB21.DBB208 should be 0 when no machining operation is active. However, DB21.DBB208 is being set to 2, which incorrectly triggers 510107.
Until a permanent fix is found, DB21.DBB208 can be manually set to 0 from the NC/PLC variable screen. This will clear error 510107.
To Adjust Variable
Log in as Manufacturer
Navigate to [Diagnostics] → [NC/PLC Variable].
Locate a blank line in the variable list.
Enter DB21.DBB208 in the blank field.
Press [Change] to change the value from 2 to 0.
This should temporarily resolve the issue until Engineering provides an official update.
To Calibrate CTS
- Remove any tool from the spindle.
- Find the "Calibration" screwdriver in Figure 2.1c (this is where you'll adjust the sensor).
- Make sure the mill is running.
- Turn on CTS and keep an eye on the pendant.
- Slowly tighten the screw with a small flathead screwdriver (about 1/8 turn per second).
- When the machine faults (see Figure 2.11e), back off the screw ¼ turn and clear the fault on the pendant.
