Replaced a ballscrew on a VMC7si. When trying to bring the Y axis back to the flags, it would not let the Y travel, giving an Axis MY1 rests on software limit switch +alarm. I don't remember the actual keypresses used but I was able to get it to turn that error off. I believe i had to press repos button. Speaking with Kurt, he believes that after setting parameter 34210 to 0, you may have to to press Set MD active (cf). This HSK is not shown when still in the search mode. Can we add some steps to this if a motor or ballscrew is being replaced. We could have also loosened the coupler and turned the screw by hand to get the Y into home position.
