Power off the machine. Do not remove any cables and/ or unmount any parts while machine is ON. Power must be OFF!

In the Electrical cabinet, locate the AC DRIVE. Remove front covers on AC DRIVE.

WAIT FOR THE RED LED TO TURN OFF! THE RED LED ON INDICATES THERE IS STILL HIGH VOLTAGE PRESENT!

Remove the Spindle Control cable from the Computer module and also from the AC Drive.

Remove the Spindle Encoder cable, Spindle Load Meter cable, Spindle Disable cable (H1, HC & H2), Spindle Temperature cable (SPD-SN) and Drive Logic Cable.

Remove AC power input wires (L1-4, L2-4, L3-4), Motor power wires (SU, SV, SW), Braking resistor wires (B1, B2), Spindle Load Meter cable and last ground wires.

Unbolt the top two screws and loosen the bottom two. Remove the AC Drive and install the replacement part. Perform steps in reverse order.

Double check cables and wires are in correct locations before powering machine on. Run RPM on machine and ensure the speed is at correct values with a TACHOMETER.
