The VNC Software requires administrator access to your computer during the installation. If you don't have admin password, you may want to locate the password before starting this procedure.

Follow the link to the SINUMERIK VNC setup folder in SharePoint:

To open SharePoint in a new tab you can hold the Ctrl button on your keyboard as you press the link or right click the link and select the option “open link in new tab”.

1 - Download the setup folder on your local machine by pressing the three dots. Then - 2 - Click on the Download option from the drop down menu. When you download setup folder from SharePoint website, you will get setup.zip file. Unzip setup.zip to create setup folder.

In the setup folder, you will see the setup.exe file, double click on the file to execute. Follow the instructions on the installation menu granting permission to the application which may require the administrator password for your computer.

After VNC viewer is installed on the computer, go to Start menu and search for VNC- Viewer, double click on the icon.

Open the back cover of Siemens control. Get an ethernet cable, connect one end of the cable to the computer and other end to ethernet for X127 on the control.

If using the TRAK provided Surface tablet it is important to use a certified adaptor to create a ethernet connection. Trak will provide a Surface Combo Adapter, remove the case and install on the Surface tablet to create a stable ethernet connection.

In the VNC viewer window type in 192.168.215.1 in VNC server field, and press connect.

To adjust the screen resolution, press setting (cog) icon on the top left (shown in a red box) and select Auto (shown in the blue box on the popup window) and press ok to confirm the settings and begin the remote access the Sinumerik One control.
